I'm proud to say my Dad, Granddad and Great Granddad all raised cattle.  They are the reason Abel Farms exists. So to Richard Albert Abel Jr, Richard Albert Abel Sr and William Joseph Abel thanks for the good breeding!  The "s" in Abel Farms a tribute to you and the Abel Farms of the past!

Abel Farms - the 2017 version

After spending way too long behind a desk I retired in 2014 and began my quest to bring life to Abel Farms again.  The current iteration of Abel Farms was purchased in August 2016.  Barn construction took place in November 2016.  The "herd" arrived in November 2017 after a purchase from the good folks at Runnin' Ragged Farm in Bardstown KY.
